Author bio (50 words) Susan Drew is a kidlit writer and the author of Sadie Does Not Like Sorries. She lives in Vermont with her husband and dog, but grew up all over the world as a military brat. Her favorite place to live was Heilbronn, Germany. Susan loves British baking shows, and doodling.

Author bio (full length) Susan Drew currently lives in Northern Vermont with her husband and hungry dog, but she grew up all over the world as a military brat. All her traveling led her to a life of imagination. What do the squirrels say to each other as they race around her yard? Are all the bees in her flower garden busy, or is there a lazy one reading the current issue of Hive Beautiful somewhere? It’s also what feeds her picture books and middle grade novels.

Susan is the author of Sadie Does Not Like Sorries, illustrated by Zonaisha Arshad, and a Finalist in the 2024 American Fiction Awards from the American Book Fest, Children’s Fiction Division. She is a member of Society of Children’s Books Writers and Illustrators, Women Fiction Writers Association, and Sisters in Crime.
